The question is how do we get there.” ~Elina Greiff How learning positive communication strategies can help “baby proof” your relationship before and after the baby arrives. Identifying the MASTERS from the DISASTERS

Expectations

We all have expectations of each other, our kids, our spouses, our bosses, our parents. So, what happens when someone doesn’t meet those expectations? We REACT. One way to handle unmet expectations is described in this quote: "Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth, freedom, and happiness." When we are able to take a break and breathe and take some moments to think about our response, the whole dynamic changes. What do you do when you feel yourself getting reactive? What works for you? --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/askourparentcoach/message
