She talks about growing up in France, traveling the world, her interest in shamanism, her experience with sexual harassment, her blog, and how that led to writing her first novel. Ingrid started her blog after the November 2015 terror attacks in Paris. "I wanted to raise a voice, I wanted to have an answer to that," she says. "I didn't want to be in the subway ... getting scared of other people. I wanted to act in some way." She set out with the goal of meeting a someone new every day for a year and writing a profile of each person.
