About Us

Pajama Party Podcast is a celebration of shameless self-expression and friendship hosted by Annika, Jennifer and Tanya in Tucson, Arizona. We gather as twenty year-old women with a passion for creating and sharing ideas, art and our personal experiences. Together we work to build an environment that allows creative minds to connect on a deeper level, exchange ideas that are "out there" and to foster healthy, supportive relationships that will generate positive change within our communities. Have something you'd like to bring to the party? We would love to work with you! Email us: pjppod@gmail.com or follow us on our social media profiles, linked below! (**WEBSITE COMING SOON!**)

"Out of Our Element" Ep 1: FIRE

EIn order to connect back to nature after centuries of alienation, we decided to create the "Out of Our Element" Series that includes four episodes that talk about each element, Fire, Water, Air, Earth. In this episode, hosted by Tanya, we discuss everything to do with fire, what it has symbolized across different cultures and religions, our personal experiences with fire, and its uses. We also dive into the topic of climate change and environmental issues, and how capitalism and imperialism are at the backbone of wildfires in the Amazon and in California.

Our Desert Dreams Follow Up!

EThese past few months have just flown by as we worked hard to prepare for our first ever interactive art exhibition, DESERT DREAMS! In this episode we reflect on the event, the making of Tanya's short film "Monsoon" and discuss the forecast for upcoming projects! Thank you to everyone who supported the event. We ended up collecting $607 in donations that will go to four local organizations (People's Defense Initiative, Emerge! Center Against Domestic Abuse, Esperanza Dance Project and Colibrí Center for Human Rights). We met so many amazing people in the process of making our Desert Dreams and are ready to continue connecting/creating/engaging with our community.
