Ep 38: Over watered plants

Ep 37: Sparkling consequences with Alison Vaclav

We’ve struggled recently with what to say, which topics to engage, and how to approach them. The result of that struggle has been a lack of engagement. I can hear it in our voices, and I don’t like it. This week we invited Alison back to join the conversation and she pushed us to break the lines we’ve been avoiding. When I listened back to this episode I felt encouraged again about what we’re doing here. I was reminded again why I like doing it. I hope you enjoy.

Ep 36: Naming, sacrifice, and transcendence

Part of achieving understanding is making room for it. Much like spring cleaning, when you purge a lot of your stuff, you can then re-examine what remains. The resulting psychological state is one of renewed and refreshed clarity. It is helpful in a period of waiting to ask, what might I remove. What could I give up as a way to prepare myself or open myself to the things I don’t know yet.

Ep 35: Confusion, comedy, and clarity

Are we seeing some kind of breaking point? We've noticed that comedy can make way for clarity out of confusion. Not that we're funny, that's not what we do here. Travis county Co-parenting class: https://www.traviscountytx.gov/dro/parenting-class Bret Weinstein's DarkHorse Podcast - Black Intellectual Roundtable https://youtu.be/pHGt733yw3g "We, as a populace, are overreacting in haste to highly interpretive narratives around circumstances that we do not fully understand & seem not to want to fully understand.
