The British Endurance Athlete Podcast Episode 3 - Rhian Roxburgh

On Episode 3 of the BEA podcast I was fortunate enough to interview North Wales Coach and Triathlete Rhian Roxburgh. Rhian is a two time European Age Group Gold Medalist and also won Bronze at the World Age Group Championships. As well as competing as an Age Group athlete she raced the Alanya European Elite Cup for GB. Whilst she still competes, she is primarily focused on coaching through her training group TriRoxTraining. British Endurance Athlete Podcast Episode 02 - Osian Perrin

Man, was this a fun podcast to record! I was really chuffed to get a great athlete and an even greater friend on the podcast for the second episode of the BEA Podcast. Osian is one of the most talented athletes in Welsh sport at the moment - he is the current Welsh Cross Country Champion, boasts track PB's of 3.56 (1500m) and 8.23 (3000m) and was the 2019 British Youth Super Series Triathlon Champion. We talk about a range of topics, including: - How he is coping with the current coronavirus epidemic and it's effects on his training. - How he got started in the sport. - His breakthrough 2019 season. - His training and how he sets goals. -His approach to training solo and how it has effected his racing style. British Endurance Athlete Podcast Episode 01 - Russell Bentley

I’m delighted to have a talented, good looking, funny and intelligent man on this podcast for my first episode along with Russell. All jokes aside, it was a privilege to record my first podcast with Russell Bentley. Russell is a two time Marathon Eryri Champion, has ran an incredible 2.20 Marathon PB and boasts a whole host of impressive race performances whilst juggling a family and a full time job. We talk extensively about a number of subjects, including but not limited to 1) His time spent amongst the Kenyans 2) His Berlin Marathon Experiences 3) His opinion on the Nike Vaporfly/Alphafly Shoe and the doping allegations surrounding the Nike Oregon Project and Mo Farah. Aside from the above topics we chat about his aspirations this year and after retiring, representing Wales and his best piece of training advice. More on Russell can be found on his instagram @russell_runner or his blog russellrunner.com - In addition to this Russell runs a weekly track session every Tuesday evening at 6pm in Treborth, Bangor where runners regardless of fitness can learn from his wealth of experience. Russell has also just started an Air B&B in the beautiful Blaenau Ffestiniog, more on this can be found out through messaging Russell directly. Thanks for listening and I hope you enjoy the podcast, let me know what you’d like to hear next and any improvements that can be made! HVDR
