We welcome former QPR, Portsmouth and Southampton midfielder, Nigel Quashie, onto the podcast this week. Danny is joined by former Blackpool, Leeds United and most recently Sunderland manager, Simon Grayson. Simon enjoyed a career as a professional footballer playing for some of England’s top clubs including Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers. But he’s most recognized for his time spent at Leicester City as a player, in the early 90s, and then as Manager of Leeds United, from 2008 to 2012. Simon recently featured in the Netflix documentary, Sunderland Til I die, a fly-on-the-wall series about Sunderland’s first season in the Championship, following relegation from the Premier League. In this episode, Danny talks to former Eintracht Frankfurt, Schalke 04, Blackburn Rovers and USA International midfielder Jermaine Jones. Jermaine came through Germany's famed academy system, making his professional debut for Eintracht Frankfurt.
