Favourite Animated Film: Princess Mononoke and The Prince of Egypt

EIt’s a(n anime) trap! Two years after a trip to Japan, Johnny finally convinces Alex to watch anime, under the pretence of the pod. Princess Mononoke (Miyazaki, 1997) is set in the late Muromachi period of Japan (approximately 1336 to 1573 CE), but it includes fantasy elements. The story follows a young Emishi prince named Ashitaka, and his involvement in a struggle between the gods of a forest and the humans who consume its resources. The Prince of Egypt (Chapman, Hickner and Wells, 1998) is an adaptation of the Book of Exodus and follows the life of Moses from being a prince of Egypt to his ultimate destiny to lead the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Film with a job you want: Creed and Moneyball

EYou can't learn anything when you're talking. That's a fact of life. As long as you're talking, you're not listening. So stop talking and start listening! Creed is a 2015 American sports drama film directed by Ryan Coogler and written by Coogler and Aaron Covington from a story by Coogler. Michael B. Jordan stars as Adonis "Donnie" Johnson Creed, Apollo Creed's son, with Sylvester Stallone reprising the role of Rocky Balboa. Moneyball is a 2011 American biographical sports drama film directed by Bennett Miller and written by Steven Zaillian and Aaron Sorkin. The film is based on Michael Lewis's 2003 nonfiction book of the same name, an account of the Oakland Athletics baseball team's 2002 season and their general manager Billy Beane's attempts to assemble a competitive team. In the film, Beane (Brad Pitt) and assistant GM Peter Brand (Jonah Hill), faced with the franchise's limited budget for players, build a team of undervalued talent by taking a sophisticated sabermetric approach to scouting and analyzing players.

A Film with More than Five Words in the Title: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels

EThis episode is as long as my arm; I wish it was as long as something else. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - Gondry (2004): It follows an estranged couple who have erased each other from their memories. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels - Ritchie (1998): The story is a heist involving a self-confident young card sharp who loses £500,000 to a powerful crime lord in a rigged game of three-card brag. To pay off his debts, he and his friends decide to rob a small-time gang who happen to be operating out of the flat next door.
