That Film Stew Ep 247 - Unhinged (Review)

It may not be Tenet, or Wonder Woman 1984, or Black Widow, but at this stage we’re all just happy to have a new movie out for us to go and see at the cinema. Directed by Derrick Borte, Unhinged is the thriller film starring Russell Crowe as the deranged stranger who apparently can happen to anyone. Rachel Hunter (Caren Pistorius), a mother going through a divorce, uses her horn at the wrong time, to the wrong guy. Road rage doesn’t begin to describe what this seemingly unstoppable stranger is about to do to her and everyone she knows.

Rewind & Review Ep 53 - Clueless (1995)

Clueless is considered to be one of the best teen films of all time – developing a cult following and has a continuing legacy. As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, we rewind to take a look at this teen comedy film which was loosely based on Jane Austen’s 1815 novel Emma, with a modern-day setting of Beverly Hills. Written and directed by Amy Heckerling, Clueless centres on Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone), who is beautiful, clever, rich, shallow, socially successful, and is at the top of her Beverly Hills high school’s pecking scale. Seeing herself as a matchmaker, Cher first coaxes two teachers into dating each other. Emboldened by her success, she decides to give hopelessly klutzy new student Tai Fraiser (Brittany Murphy) a makeover. When Tai becomes more popular than she is, Cher realises that her disapproving ex-stepbrother (Paul Rudd) may have been right about how misguided she was.

That Film Stew Ep 245 - Atom Smasher Sounds Naughty (Movie Show)

Not only will Zack Snyder's Justice League look like Snyder's vision, but it is going to sound like it too. Could Keanu Reeves be coming back as Constantine? Chicken Run 2 is laying to rest its original cast, yet another live-action Peter Pan movie on its way, and a Fletch reboot? Sure, why not? The Batman is getting a small screen spin-off, a new Batwoman has been cast, and Sabrina is ending her chilling adventures.
