“How much is a dance?” Well... it’s “$50 PLUS A TIP!”
A stripper sharing her experience in the adult entertainment industry, with some help from special guests along the way to spice things up and give “outsiders” a glimpse of the real world of erotic entertainment - the highs, the lows, and of course the blows…
50 PLUS A TIP host Danica is a sarcastic, straightforward, sex-positive feminist. Her years of experience as an exotic dancer (lap dancer, stripteaser, pole dancer) have given her a passion and drive to do what she can to eliminate the incorrect stigma that currently surrounds sex work.
She is confident that sharing stories from her guests (sex workers and other sexy people) and her own personal life as an active sex worker can help do exactly that - show women (and men) that we can own our sexuality proudly (and sometimes even profit off it)!
This week we have the pleasure of setting down with the dynamic duo behind ComeCurious and hosts of the award-winning F**ks Given podcast : Reed Amber & Florence Bark. Reed is a sex educator and presenter who has been in the adult industry for over 10 years both behind and in front of the camera. Reed worked as an ethical porn director and is now a advocate for sex-worker rights. She has been a regular guest on the BBC Tricky podcast for kinks, festishes and sex work as well as MTV News discussing pleasure and sexuality.Reed has also been featured on Gogglebox and was a part of Channel 4’s ‘How To Make it on OnlyFans’ documentary in 2021. Reed continues to speak about destigmastising sex, mental health and how to make her audience feel comfortable in their bodies by vlogging and sharing unfiltered authentic content across her platforms. And across the mic from Reed we have Florence. Florence Bark is a content-creator and sex and relationships expert who speaks to millennials and young people with honesty and humour. Using her own experiences as (often painful) gold, her expansive, multi-disciplinary work cuts to the heart of what it means to live in pursuit of a genuinely fulfilling and growth-inspiring love and sex life. Florence also hosts her own podcast ‘How To Heal A Heartbreak’ where she works through her own healing journey and explores why we’re all so obsessed with love and what we culturally expect love to ‘fix’ in us as individuals. For more of Florence and Reed check out their podcast F**ks Given where they explore everything from polyamory and fetishes to STIs and having difficult conversations with your partner.

Trigger warning : s*xual assault. Abuse. “Don’t Fuck With Me” (@dontfckwithme.yvr) was created by Jules (@comesinwithme) , an activist, s3x worker and survivor of s3xual assault, in the spring of 2021 in hopes of providing foundational knowledge for self-defence. In the height of horrific abuse towards women, those who identify as women, transgender, gender diverse, BIPOC, s3x workers, and many others that intersect these titles - Jules couldn’t sit back any longer. DFWM is a free self-defence workshop catered specifically for those listed above. The workshops not only consist of basic physical training and defence tactics, but also highlights the importance of harnessing fear into power and confidence. Jules is also an eclectic witch, one who embraces all magic and spiritualities. They work with the elements, animals, astrology, lunar cycles and pagan traditions to align with the divine. In this episode we: discuss basic self defence tips, share advice for survivors of s3xual a...

Aries (@ari3s_bb) is a sex worker of 6+ years and started str!pping almost 4 years ago. They have also worked with grassroots and political organizations throughout this time, practiced their str!pper smile while working a 9-5 barista job, and been inching closer and closer to a bachelor’s degree along the way. After trying out various fields of study—from visual art to political science to religion—they discovered they could translate being super gay and in love with women (and never shutting up about it) into a degree and landed in Women and Gender Studies. This has allowed them to do research around SW, SWers, race, gender, class, media, communication, justice, religion, and violence against marginalized groups. Aries is currently a semester away from graduation, str!pping in Philly and making spicy content. They’re also blowing up on TikTok where they share SW, str!pping and spiritual related content with their 55,000+ followers! We chat to Aries about: their experience danc...
Hello lovelies, and as Riley now wants us to say: Welcome to the wh0re show!! First and foremost, go check out our girl @robi_rye in the new str!p club documentary “Stripped: Las Vegas” (available on Amazon Prime, Starz+, and more). She is absolutely fabulous in it and we love to see our friends (and previous guests) killing it! This episode we: recap our past two weeks of work (a lot of wins these past shifts! Yay!); discuss how our periods impact our work and how we work around them; Riley’s equal parts kissable and punchable face; Danica’s stress relieving b00bs; dancing for a lizard man; and review the book “I Hate men” by Pauline Harmange (10/10 recommend this one!). As always, have a wonderful week and happy wh0ring !
This week’s episode is a TWO PARTER and may just be one of our favourite interviews so far! This week we are sitting down with Jeremy, a good friend of Danica’s and the General Manager of the world famous str!p club The Number 5 Orange (aka. “The Five”). The second part of this interview we put Jeremy in the hot seat and asked him all (well most of) your listener questions! Top 3 qualities of a good entertainer? Qualities you love in a dancer that works at your club? Do you ever go into a str!p club as a patron? From the male perspective, what makes a good lap dance ? What would be a reason for firing someone? Why do some dancers get put on more customers than others? Do managers pick favourites? If given the power, what would be some things that you would change about the club? What is your opinion on the increase of tip out per dance for the dancer, but the stagnancy of the price per dance? And a ton of other questions, some maybe a little too spicy to type out so you’re just...
This week’s episode is a TWO PARTER and may just be one of our favourite interviews so far - perhaps because we forced the guest into being on the show or because we just couldn’t stop laughing the entire recording. Jeremy has been a good friend of Danica’s for years and “willingly” came on the pod to share his experience as a cis male with an insider view of the sêx industry. Jeremy has been working at the world famous str!p club The Number 5 Orange (aka “The Five”) for 25+ years; the last 12+ years occupying the role of General Manager. But he’s not like a regular manager, he’s a cool manager - we promise! In the first part of this two-part episode we: discuss the major changes Jeremy has seen in the clubs over the last 25 years, the changes he’s seen in the dancers and the patrons, the impact of c0vid on the local club scene, advice on how to apply / audition for the club, comment on bullying in the club and new dancers respecting the veteran dancers, and discuss what ...
