Twitter Genius/Idiot Stefan Heck and comedian John Cullen invite guests on the program to talk about the who and the how of getting blocked on social media. From celebrities to jilted ex-lovers, every block has a story and we’re here to get to the bottom of it.

Stacey McLachlan (comedian) returns after a too-long absence from the show to tell us about having to block an Instagram/TikTok dancer for moving in a weird way. Not in general, just weird to Stacey. And we pair that with a very grim listener block to really balance it all out. That's not all the listeners contribute this week, as we get a ton of new Jibbitz for the #JibbitzChallenge, from some more horrible Friends ones to a Yoda one Stefan seems to actually love unironically. We also get into virtual pets, Babygram, hot tubs, Alan Dershowitz's book feedback, the tasteless Fox Sports baseball promo, and Stacey regales us with the crazy story of how her and her husband used a professional wrestling event to name their baby. If you want to contribute to our baby (this show), you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, Rachel Schaefer joined us for a fun mailbag, and coming up this Friday, it's another Patrons-only Zoom show as our friends in Minion Death Cult are going to join us for a look at the very Canadian version of Cameo, Memmo. It's gonna be a time. Stacey McLachlan is a comedian whose musical comedy show will be live at the Biltmore in Vancouver on August 26th, and whose husband's wrestling promotion will make its debut on September 17th at the Commercial Drive Legion. You can follow Stacey on Instagram at @stacey_mclachlan.

Malik Elassal (comedian) joins the show for the first time to tell us about a friend's ex who went rogue to start the pandemic and forced Malik into blocking her after some very strange comments regarding Malik getting COVID early in the pandemic. After we learn that Malik's day job is as a mattress delivery man, we discuss the logistics of delivering mattresses and Stefan and John dive into their days working as manual laborers. Then, a discussion of what restaurants had to deal with the "rats in the food" urban myths leads to a reappearance of Joey on the program, much to John's chagrin. Plus! Malik's Instagram feed is populated with gym guys, Maya Rudolph loses her mind on Hot Ones, and Stefan finds a wholesome, Megan Thee Stallion-appreciating TikTok. If you want to appreciate more of our wholesome content, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we kept our new "And Just Like That" watchalong series going with a great guest appearance from Cait Raft, and this week, it's a mailbag with a returning Rachel Schaefer. Plus, we've got merch discounts and live show discounts which will come in handy very soon, as Blocked Party's Top 3 Weekend featuring live BP, Not Even a Show, and Go Off Kings comes to Vancouver this fall. More details to come! Malik Elassal is a comedian who promises to start doing the stand-up videos with the little captions very soon, and you can follow him on Twitter and Instagram at @malikelassal.

Jesse Thorn (Jordan, Jesse, Go!, Bullseye) joins the show with a very original Block Tale, a first in show history, as he gets blocked by the former head writer of The Late Show with David Letterman for making her sit in traffic. It's a true California Block Tale and in true California fashion, we spend a great deal of the show talking about frozen treats, from Jesse's high-end home ice machine to the best selections to come from the ice cream truck. John also gets roasted for a horrendous analogy, Stefan bucks the trend by being the one to talk about nu-metal with the Alien Ant Farm discourse, and we learn about scromiting. Plus, dogs on roofs, Paul F. Tompkins, and Antiques Roadshow. Jesse Thorn is a podcaster who is the founder of Maximum Fun and can be heard on "Jordan, Jesse, Go!" and "Judge John Hodgman" on a weekly basis. You can also hear his show, "Bullseye", on NPR. You can follow him on Twitter at @jessethorn. Rest in Peace to our dear friend Nick Nemeroff. We love you, pal. In lieu of flowers, the Nemeroff family has asked that you make a donation to Planned Parenthood, which was one of the last things Nick did before he passed.

Ginny Hogan (writer/comedian) returns to the show in the midst of her "eat pray love" journey, a 3-week trip to Vancouver Island that ended up with her being too bored. So lucky for us, she decided to head to Vancouver for some standup shows and a visit to BPHQ, as she joins us in-studio and we learn all about her trip, from teaching herself to drive on some of Canada's gnarliest highways to an upcoming wedding in Alaska. And that's not all, as the Jibbitz Challenge begins in earnest with a 3-D printed homemade Jibbitz that may prove to be the best one we get, to a "scrunchie" one that absolutely looks like a butthole. Plus, we chat about Lucky Charms, scheduled tweets, District Fair bake-offs, group chat fails, and Ginny gets blocked by Senate candidate/ghoul Blake Masters for an innocuous foul. If you want more innocuous content (that is also somewhat foul) then head on over to our Patreon at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, our video bonus episode with Dan O'Sullivan went live as we introduced him to some awful Dragon's Den and Bar Rescue content, and we go back to the awful well this week as Ben Flores returns for a Canadian Education episode about "Open Mike" with Mike Bullard. Plus we've got some special stuff coming up you won't wanna miss! Ginny Hogan is a writer whose new book, "I'm More Dateable Than a Plate of Refried Beans" is available wherever you get your books. You can follow her on Twitter at @ginnyhogan_.

Rachel Brodsky (writer) joins the show and immediately proves herself to be one of our smartest guests ever, as she comes up with the perfect answer to "what is the opposite of corn?", helps us with our lacking musical knowledge, and has the rare Block Tale that actually provides a moral and some genuine prescriptive advice. But as always, don't let all of that fool you, as we still drag Rachel way down into the mud with us as we read a Blocked Party Secret that involves us talking about pissing in a tent, a Facebook friend of John's finds a pet rat, and Dan eats Doritos for dinner. Plus! Stefan gives us an update on Jerry Saltz's coffee situation, Rachel introduces us to the new Nerf mascot, and Tim Allen takes some kids to Disneyland. If you want to go to podcasting Disneyland, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every dang month! Last week, we released a mailbag episode with Producer Dan, and if you're donating at the $8 or $100 Club levels, we got a special video bonus episode coming this week where Dan O'Sullivan joins us to watch some Dragon's Den and Bar Rescue. Plus we got some big news coming up you won't wanna miss, AND we have the Jibbitz Challenge just kicking into high gear. So get into it! Rachel Brodsky is a staff writer for Stereogum whose work on music and pop culture can also be found in the Los Angeles Times, The Guardian, Vulture, and more. To get updates on all of her writing, you can follow her on Twitter at @rachelbrods and Instagram at @rebrods.

Chris Locke (comedian, Evil Men) returns to the show with a Block Tale that we are all too familiar with: someone you haven't talked to in a decade gets weird in the DMs all of a sudden. That comes off of the back of a discussion about how the internet in general has us bummed lately, and we try to think of ways to return to the halcyon days of being online. It's not all bad though, as we talk horror movies, our emotions, and John's recent return from his honeymoon. Plus, John finally gets a chance to hit back at all the AI Art, Stefan shows us a video of a Rottweiler throwing up an interesting object (which leads to more...interesting discussion), we become shock jocks, and we introduce the Jibbitz Challenge. If you want to accept the challenge of listening to more BP content, you can head on over to patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week, we continued our series where we watch the new Sex and the City with our friend Howell Dawdy, and this week it's another episode of the beloved BP mailbag. Plus we've got merch discounts, a great Discord, and more! Chris Locke is a comedian who is one of the co-hosts of the Evil Men podcast, a podcast about...well, very bad men. He can be found on Twitter at @chrislockeworld and Instagram at @chrislockefun.

When John’s away, Stefan and Dan will play… and boy, did they ever. Along with co-host DB and returning guest Jon Hendren, the boys discuss the insane shit they’ve made with Midjourney AI, Jon’s blood clot scare, and what sort of huge spiders they’ve got in Australia. As well, Jon lists a murderer’s row of celebs he’s been blocked by (and isn’t entirely sure why). Plus, John calls in from his Hawaiian honeymoon to see how the episode is going… and he’s not exactly surprised with the results. If you want more results you won't be surprised by, head on over to our Patreon at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, it's the return of our series where we review the next Sex and the City, and this time we'll be joined by our friend Howell Dawdy to break down the extremely weird funeral of Mr. Big. Plus, we've got a huge back catalogue of episodes, a great Discord, merch discounts, and more, so get over there and support the show! Michael Hale is the co-host of Your Kickstarter Sucks and can be found on Twitter at @dogboner. Jon Hendren can be found on Twitter at @fart.

Bryan Quinby (Street Fight Radio) returns to the show to run through an important event in BP history: John and Becca getting married! Becca hops on the show for a little bit to discuss the night that was, from the lovely time we had to Stefan's new suit to Dan almost passing out at dinner. Bryan regales us with the story of his wedding as well, and it's perhaps a bit more wild than John's (not surprisingly). But we've got plenty of non-matrimony content too! Once Becca leaves, we find time to get into legal drugs, the Mormon tradition of "dirty soda", Joc Pederson's fantasy football dispute, and Stefan gets a slap on the wrist from EA. Plus, Bryan gets blocked by a shock jock and we run through our stupidest-ever injuries. If you want to feel less stupid (or more, I guess), you can support the show over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. Last week was a busy one as we opened up the mailbag with Molly Lambert and posted the VOD of John's Bachelor Party with a slew of amazing guests including the YKS guys, Chris James, and Tom and Demi. We also have merch discounts, an awesome Discord, over 100 bonus episodes in the back catalogue, and tons more stuff over there so check it out! Bryan Quinby is a podcaster who can be heard on Street Fight Radio with Brett Payne and on The P.O.D. Kast with BP's own John Cullen. You can follow him on Twitter at @murderxbryan.

Rachel Feltman (author) joins the show to talk about that frightening yet seminal moment in every 11 year-old's life: when they have their first online crush reciprocated and then immediately panic and block them. Rachel runs us through the whole tale as we revisit summer camp all over again. Speaking of seminal life moments, the countdown is on for John and Becca's wedding and we discuss Dan and Stefan's fashion choices for the upcoming affair and wonder who might be the wedding's "fashion wild card" of the evening. You might be surprised by the answer! We also get into Crocs charms, wedding gifts, niche TikTok, burlesque, and Stefan introduces us to a great moment in sports commentary history. If you want to be a part of more great moments in history, you can support the show by becoming a patron over at patreon.com/blockedparty. Not only will you be helping out the Blocked Boys, but you'll also get a ton of great stuff, as $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every single month. This week, Molly Lambert joins us for a mailbag episode and the VOD from John's BP Bachelor Party will also go live. Plus we've got the $100 Club with top-secret benefits, merch discounts, a great Discord, and more! So help us, help you today. Rachel Feltman is an author and podcaster whose new book "Been There, Done That: A Rousing History of Sex" is available now. You can also listen to her podcast, "The Weirdest Thing I Learned This Week" wherever you get your pods. You can follow her on Twitter at @rachelfeltman.

After 3 failed attempts, we finally get Alistair Ogden (comedian) on the show to discuss one of our more involved Block Tales of all-time, as he takes an Instagram scammer WAY further into the weeds than they likely ever expected to go. And you know that we go all the way into the weeds too, as Producer Dan is away for this episode and the boys have to try and operate the boards themselves. It turns out to be a successful operation, as the episode sounds great and we feel great as we discuss food poisoning (our own this time), crying, Don Cherry's podcast, and we consider radical leg-lengthening surgery. John also talks about the commercial he was supposed to do for A&W, Alistair briefs us on his wholesome online uncle, and Stefan helps John go viral with a post type he's talked about on the show many times before. If you want to more tips on how to go viral, you can check out our Patreon over at patreon.com/blockedparty, where $5/month gets you access to THREE bonus episodes every month. This week, Gavin Matts returns to the show to discuss John getting blocked by NHL analyst Kevin Weekes, and this Friday, it's another live Zoom show as Stefan and Dan fête John for his BP Bachelor Party. There will be guests and surprises John has no idea about, and you can only get in by being a patron at any level, so check it out! Alistair Ogden is a comedian who hosts a monthly show in Vancouver called Comedypants. You can follow him on Instagram at @alistairogden and on Twitter at @alistairstuff.
