After a long time away from DJing and podcasts, I thought it was time to break out of my semi-retirement and start pumping out some podcasts again.I've had a couple of years of huge changes in my life, where my life went from the very top of the world to rock bottom in only a couple of years and I'm slowly (actually pretty close) to getting back up towards the top again.The details of my disappearance from podcasting were all due to decisions that I made about my life (both consciously and subconsciously) that all led to this occurring. There was no single event that was the reason for me stopping putting out my podcasts, but one of the main one's was my addiction to drugs. I lost my job, my partner and my life savings all in a couple of years.For too long I looked at blaming others for my life falling apart, but one day, I finally woke up and realised I was responsible for what happened to me and that I had been the one to nearly ruin my life.I realised that I had found an excuse f...

This is an exciting day for me (and maybe for a few other people as well, who have been wondering if I was ever going to post a podcast again). So ... this is my first podcast in just over 2.5 years. This is also a first for me. My first recorded live set. And my first recorded from DJ decks at my new home here in Surfers Paradise. This is a re-recording of my NYE set at the Cornucopia party (plus an extended addition of a few extra mixes at the end including one for a mate of mine who requested the closing song - which also happens to be one of my all-time favourite tracks And for people that know me, they’ll understand how much this coincidence means to me ... What would you "do for love"? I would love to be able to marry my partner , but unfortunately I'm denied that opportunity here in Australia, because it's not a right given to same sex couples. But that could change soon !! The marriage equality debate is in full swing, so I urge anyone that gets their postal vote to make their voice count by sending in their YES vote. It's disappointing to see that our government can't make the decision for themselves, but that my love for another man has to be validated by millions of others deciding if my love was equal to theirs or not. I'm proud to be gay and I hope that one day soon I can get down on my knees and ask the man I love to marry me. So spread the word and get those votes in.
