Hi everyone,It's been a big few weeks for the PMI. It's celebrated it's 50th Birthday in early October and launched a new brand and logo. I was lucky enough to connect up with Vindy Anderson, VP for Brand Management while at the LIM in Philadelphia just before the new brand was launched. Then, on the day of the launch, I did some roving mic interviews to get a pulse from the congress attendees on what their initial perspectives were of the new logo. You can hear all of this in this month's episode which I hope you enjoy. For more about the new brand, check out For even more on the new brand and the Project Economy, check out the following:Two places for more on The Project Economy:- https://www.pmi.org/the-project-economy- https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/welcome-project-economy-cindy-anderson-cae/More on PMI's brand refresh: https://www.pmi.org/about/leadership-governance/ceo-corner/straight-talk-with-sunilMore on stakeholder management as part of the brand refresh: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/stakeholder-management-from-executive-sponsors-cindy-anderson-cae/Thanks,Rob

Hi there,Welcome to the Ireland Chapter PMI Podcast. EP13 & April 2019. In this month’s show, I’m sharing out the full interview and Q&A with one of the PMI founders, Jim Snyder, from the National Conference back in February in Fota Ireland resort, Cork. This was a total sell out and I have to say, it was the best PM event I’ve been at in the decade since I’ve been going to these. Now I’m sure you’re thinking, I’m biased. But this has been echoed back to me during the event and since. It’s a longer than usual episode but very much worth a listen as you get some great insights from Jim on the 50 years of PMI as well as hearing from members of the audience on the day that put questions to Jim. A really special interview. I hope you enjoy it. We will be back next month with content from a recent Dublin Chapter event as well as some updates from the PMI EMEA LIM & Congress that are happening in May. If you’re considering going to the congress, please check out the page on out Chapter site at www.pmi-ireland.org for more details. Enjoy the podcast & have a great week.Connect in with Rob – rodonohue@pmi-ireland.org Best,Rob
Hi there,Welcome to the Ireland Chapter PMI Podcast. EP12 & March 2019. In this month’s show you’re going to hear content we recorded at our national conference back in 28th February in Fota Ireland resort, Cork. This was a total sell out and I have to say, it was the best PM event I’ve been at in the decade since I’ve been going to these. Now I’m sure you’re thinking, I’m biased. But this has been echoed back to me during the event and since. It just seemed to work very well. You’d hope it was executed flawlessly as it’s a PM conference but still…and with Barry Murphy, from Après Match fame, the MC, there was certainly a lot of humour added to it. We recorded a number of interviews on the day with the presenters and some attendees. We also recorded the presentation that Dermott Bannon gave along with the Interview I did on stage with Jim Snyder. More on these in coming episodes. For today, I hope you enjoy the short interviews I did with both Dermot Bannon and Walter Bradley as well as 3 clips from some of the attendees on the day as I asked them, to align with the theme of the conference, how they’ve used Project Management to turn Ideas into Reality. Enjoy the podcast & have a great week.Rob
