It's time for another episode of Junk Food Dinner, except nobody told Kevin Moss to show up. It's okay, though, because we're joined by friend of the show Virtual Kevin Moss and even better friend of the show Justin Wiese. Up first! It's Jacques Demy's /other/ musical, the French fairytale musical that Sean was afraid to pick in Kevin's presence. It's Donkey Skin, from 1970! It's the one with a lady who vomits frogs. Does Kevin like that sorta thing? Next up! We head on over to Hong Kong with Maggie Cheung, Michelle Yeoh and some other famous Hong Kong lady in the gender-swapped Chinese Triple Batman sorta flick The Heroic Trio (from 1993). We can't even explain what the heck's going on here until you listen to the episode. Finally! Of course, it's 1995's Sudden Death, starring Jean Claude Van Damme. It's the one with the hockey game! All this plus the real donkey lips raps, the final verdict on all of the new and controversial mainstream film releases, the triumphant return of the ...

We're celebrating our 1700th movie (I think, I'm too lazy to look it up)! As is tradition, we're doing an audio commentary to celebrate. But for what movie? Well, you voted for it and it's the Spider-Man TV movie/pilot from 1977! Is it a menace or a hero? Join us and find out! Donloyd here

This week we diverge slightly from our regular short films week and once again change over to JFDTV, where we each pick about 25-minutes worth of music videos to yack about. Up first, Kevin picks a slew of weird videos, including clips from Whale, Zapp, The Dogs, Ray Parker Jr., Butthole Surfers and The Bobby Lees. Check out the playlist here. Then, Parker get vapor wavey with videos from Gunship, Carpenter Brut, Biting Elbows, Wolfie's Just Fine and Miles Fisher. Check out the playlist here. And finally, Sean brings us video clips from the likes of Mondo Vita, Jean-Michel Jarre, Timmy Spence, STOP, Commander Cody, Frank Chickens, Ken Berg and The Toons. Check out the playlist here. All this plus MTV nostalgia, Kennedy on Fox News, mobile movie theaters, anime on Adult Swim, Beavis and Butthead updates, hot new blu-rays and so much more! LISTEN NOW: MP3 Direct Donloyd Also, if you like the show, please take a minute and subscribe and/or comment on us on iTunes, Stitcher, Blubrry or ...

Those top-class weirdos the Dom Deluise crew have outdone themselves this week with 3 wild flicks for us to chat about! Up first! It's Lucio Fulci's /other/ 'Gates of Hell' movie (that somehow we haven't reviewed yet) The Beyond, from 1981! It's the one where eyeballs get gauged, but in New Orleans! (thanks Portland Paul!) Next up! We hit the road with Charlie Sheen and his ghoulish friend in the early Penelope Spheeris joint The Boys Next Door (from 1985). Keep your eyes peeled for Moon Unit Zappa in a cameo. (thanks Ricky!) Finally! Of course, it's 2013's Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor, a movie picked by Parker, who likes those guys (those guys being Tyler Perry, who directed this movie and who also likes to smell his own farts). Parker likes those guys! (thanks Mark from England!) All this plus the official Bob Dylan show report starring Sean Byron, continued DALL-E Mini chat (we're still calling it that), Kevin's fed up with this bullshit, Parker gets the Mothma...

Welcome to short films week, Petey Bunslinger! First, DC superheroes try their had at standup comedy in "Legends of the Superheroes: The Roast." Next, a young girl has a problem with her sloppy brother in Robert Rodriguez' "Bedhead." Finally, Juan Schwartz and the whole crew from "Cannibal: The Musical" return in "Time Warped." All this plus Nerd News, a DVD or two, no Junk Mails, Eric Andre chat and so much more! Direct Donloyd here.

Summer's here and we're getting tropical as we take a trip to the Black La-June for our Creature from the Black Lagoon theme show! Up first, we start with the Universal 3-D classic that started it all, about a group of scientists who travel to the Amazon looking for creature of legend, reported to be half man and half fish. But when they find exactly what they're looking for, will they survive in Creature from the Black Lagoon from 1954. Then, another group of scientists return to the Amazon to capture the Gil-man and transport him back to the US, where they put him on display at a Florida aquarium. What could possibly go wrong in Revenge of the Creature from 1955. And finally, yet another group of scientists once again capture the Gil-man, but this time after burning the creature, they find he has human-like skin and lungs under his scales and gills. They figure they may be able to humanize the creature and make him wear clothes in The Creature Walks Among Us from 1956. All this pl...

Things are heating up around here at the JFD offices, and we've got three appropriately hot & sweaty cult movies to chat about with you this week. Get ready for a wild one, wherein opinions on movies are discussed in podcast form (a new approach to the medium). Up first! It's Michelangelo "Mr. Blow-Up" Antonioni's /other/ movie (except all the other, other ones) The Passenger, from 1975! It's the one where Jack Nicholson does some stuff in the desert and then doesn't do some other stuff not in the desert. And there's lots of slow camera movements. But also it's great! (maybe) Next up! We turn the volume up on another heavy metal horror flick, this time giving Hard Rock Zombies (from 1985) a spin. Recently restored by pixelfiends Vinegar Syndrome, does this horror comedy feature anything horrific or comedic? And does it even feature hard rock? Surely there are zombies? We'll figure out all of this, plus whether or not it has Eva Braun as a werewolf. Finally! Of course, it's 2017's Th...

We close out May-stery Month by kicking your spaghetti-bending butt back to Milan! First, a detective falls in love with a murder victim in "Laura." Next, a group of wealthy eccentics play a dangerous game in "The Last of Sheila." Finally, a poet suspects his girlfriend's a killer in "So I Married an Axe Murderer." All this plus peen chat, Kids in the Hall Chat, Junk Mails, A classic Kyle from Kentucky story and so much more! Direct Donloyd.

May-stery, our month-long tribute to mysteries, rolls right along as we make a stop in Shortsville for a trio of mysterious short films and/or TV episodes. Up first, Larry, Moe and Shemp are private detectives hired by a millionaire to protect him and his fortune from a gang of thieves, only to have slapstick hijinks ensue in The Three Stooges - Who Done It? from 1949. Then, at the height of its popularity, The Simpsons aired a two-part mystery asking the question "Who shot Mr. Burns?". The mystery lasted a whole summer and involved a contest, 1-800-COLLECT and lots of disappointed fans. We revisit the hype as we examine The Simpsons - Who Shot Mr. Burns? from 1995. And finally, David Lynch brings his unique brand of surrealism to TV in the 2017 reboot of Twin Peaks. While the entire series could be described as trippy, it was episode 8 that stood out as a real mindfucker. We take it all in and try to make sense of it. All this plus Kevin's Disney ban, Sean's celebrity encounter, Ke...

Our eternal friends the Dom Deluise Patreon Pals are in on the mysterious fun with us this week as we review three of their (semi-)mystery movie picks! Up first! It's Louis Malle's 1958 debut Elevator to the Gallows, a strikingly photographed French film noir with a Miles Davis soundtrack. Picked by Listener Luke! Next up! We double dip on the French tip with another franco-feature, the sparse but bloody Revenge (from 2017)! It's more or less what you've seen from prior rape/revenge flicks, but with vastly more shots of butts and open wounds on Frenchmen's feet. Thanks to Aaron for picking it! Finally! Of course, it's 2018's The Clovehitch Killer, because we already reviewed The Office Killer, The Killer Tomatoes/Klowns/Bimbos/Workouts/Sharks, The Driller Killer, The Thrill Killers, Honeymoon Killers, and Fearless Vampire Killers - and didn't want ol' Clovehitch to feel left out. Stars Dylan McDermott. Picked by Travis. All this plus the Garfield poop update, Parker & Sam: A Love St...
