Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I'm kicking off for July The Almost Break-Up Double Feature with Full House S3E3: Breaking Up Is Hard To Do (In 22 Minutes), with aired on October 6, 1989. In this episode Steph loses a tooth in an apple and decides to spoil the tooth fairy with milk and cookies. Michelle celebrates a new sandbox in the garden with a selfish attitude to toys. Danny reacts very casual and even imitates her when a tool of his is in the hands of a boy. Jesse refuses ever to ride a horse again and Becky in return will stay away when Jesse plays with his band. I enjoyed this episode. Jesse being selfish and always has to be right or win an argument, Becky calls him out on it. They decide to part ways when they can't compromise or agree to disagree since Jesse's got a my way or the highway attitude. Lucky for us true love prevails and they work it out. Speaking of attitude, Michelle's got a case of the mine's and gimme's when it comes to a playdate with other kids at her new sandbox in the backyard. Danny doesn't help matters by clearly demonstrating where Michelle picks up this bad habit. Joey saves the day by pointing out we gotta nip this problem where it counts before it gets worse. Henceforth comes the pass the pancake trend of 1989 at the breakfast table the next morning, Sharing is caring after all. Can't forget Stephanie and her rite of passage moment losing a tooth (not her first btw) as we seeing some missing bottom teeth. But the way she goes on about you'd think it was her first and Danny/Tooth Fairy sure gifts her like it is when (supposedly accidently) leaves her $20 under her pillow. Which everyone reacts to like it's a crisp $100 fresh off the printing press. I get it, when I was 7 in 1989 I would have reacted that way too. I got change in a cup when I lost a tooth. We also got a possible mention of Rocket the horse (not by name) when DJ jumps her first fence. Join me later this month when I cover the last episode in The Almost Break-Up Double Feature Full House S6E11: Designing Mothers, which aired on December 8, 1992. In this episode Danny meets Vicki's mother, an interior designer, who redecorates Stephanie and Michelle's room without consulting him and it leads he and Vicki to argue and break up. Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the last episode in the Father's Day Series, Full House S7E7: High Anxiety, which aired on October 26, 1993. In this episode Michelle wants Danny to stop treating her like a baby. Jesse can't make decisions about the renovation of his club. I think out of all the three episodes I covered for this series, this episode was the one that Danny got on my nerves the most, especially when it came to that ugly hat that looked like it belonged on the head of an antiqued stuffed bear from the 1920s. GAH, that hat was ugly! He kept insisting, practically forcing Michelle to wear it. I mean he actually came to her school, so he could put it on her head in front of her friends and classmates. He humiliated her. Granted he did bring her lunch that she left behind. The second plot with Jesse being overwhelmed with all the choices of new fixtures for the Smash Club. I felt for him, but he really needed to prioritize his responsibilities and focus on one at a time, then go to the next decision to make. Plus he has a house full of people that could help him. I want a red colored toilet so bad, or electric blue or teal. Do they make those? Overall, good episode. Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Welcome to Summer, as promised here is my movie review of 1993's Free Willy. Movie Synopsis: When a boy learns that a beloved killer whale is to be killed by the aquarium owners, the boy risks everything to free the whale. I loved this movie as a kid and love it still as an adult. It will always hold a special place in my heart. I've loved animal movies as long as I can remember. Watching it again many years later, I realize it still retains the magic that made me fall in love with the characters and the story as it did during my first theatrical viewing back in 1993. I hope you all enjoy this review and have a great week! To EMAIL THEPODCAST GO TO: omhcfhfhpodcast@gmail.com

Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I covered the second episode in the Father's Day Series, Full House S6E10: I'm Not DJ, which aired on December 1, 1992. In this episode Stephanie wants to pierce her ears so she can wear real earrings like her friends, the two Jennifers. Danny forbids her from doing so until she begins junior high, just like D.J. Steph doesn't want to wait and is so desperate, she turns to Kimmy Gibbler for help, whose brother just happens to work in an earring shop. I enjoyed this episode. The two Jennifers got on my ever loving nerve, and I couldn't understand why Stephanie wanted so desperately to be accepted my them. I agree with Michelle when she looked at the two girls and came to the conclusion "They don't look cool" You're right Michelle, it's because they're not. They were putting down Stephanie's fashion (sunglasses) and her clip on earring, and because those girls thought her things were lame, Stephanie immediately rejects them, like oh if there not good enough for the Jennifers, then I want nothing more to do with them. The side plot with Jesse giving the boys haircuts due to again the two Jennifers wreak havoc on the Tanner house (they refer to Nicky and Alex as cute little girls). I swear I about lose my mind in anger at this. Dave Coulier in this episode has a duel role as Joey's Uncle Jasper the owner of Kiddie Kuts, the children's barber shop. Kimmy has no business using a piercing gun on Stephanie's ears without Danny's permission. Also I don't think she sterilized or disinfected the piercing gun needle before hand either, who knows what body part was last pierced with that thing. No wonder Steph's ears get infected. Gross! Join me next week for the last episode in the Father's Day Series, Full House S7E7: High Anxiety, which aired on October 26, 1993. In this episode Michelle wants Danny to stop treating her like a baby. Jesse can't make decisions about the renovation of his club. I hope you enjoy the Podcast Episode and have a good weekend! Happy Friday Full House Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today I covered in honor of The Olsen Twins Birthday, Full House S4E17: A Fish Called Martin, which aired on February 1, 1991. In this episode Michelle gets a hard lesson in proper fish care when she gives her new goldfish, Martin, an actual bubble bath and things go belly-up. Meanwhile, Becky teaches the gang to square dance. I enjoyed this episode. Michelle learned a valuable lesson when it comes to caring for a fish and DJ learned to not lower her standards to impression a boy that only cares about one thing... cars. Jesse also learned a lesson, sometimes it's best to compromise instead of argue. Your soon to be wife has family traditions that you may not be into or you think is old fashioned and out of style, but in the ends the future bride gets what she wants. The square dance was so much fun to watch as the family gets into it even though Jesse is being a royal stick in the mud, but by the end he has a smile on his face. The guys also have to explain death to Michelle when it comes to poor Martin the fish, who Michelle according to Joey saying fish like to be clean like people, she gives Martin a bath and the poor fish passes away. Fishes and bubble baths don't mix. This is a hard lesson for Michelle as she learns her actions led to her fish's death and she is beyond scared to get too close to the new fish the guys run out and buy including 10 back up fish in a cabinet on stand by in case the new one expires in 24 hours. Join me next week when I cover the second episode in the Father's Day Series, Full House S6E10: I'm Not DJ, which aired on December 1, 1992.
Happy Full House Friday Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I'm kicking off the Father's Day Series with Full House S5E4: Oh Where Oh Where Has My Little Girl Gone, which aired on October 8, 1991. In this episode After snooping in DJ's room and finding out that a bad rumor about her has been spread around school and she refuses to talk to him about it, Danny worries that their father-daughter bond is fading. Danny's need to know with DJ borders on obsession and he keeps pushing her to talk to him, he finally gives into temptation and sneaks into her sock drawer to find a note to DJ revealing a so not the end of the world problem. He forces her to go bowling hoping she'll open up, then accidentally lets it slip about her secret note and a big blow out fight escalates between father and daughter. Danny really got in my craw this episode. I mean and DJ even tells him "if I have a problem and I can't handle it, I will come to you". Until then let her handle it Danny. I mean, really, what was he going to do, go down to the school and give Todd Mitchell a lecture on respecting women and no means no. Stephanie and Michelle adjust to being roommates. Which was cute. Join me next week when we celebrate the Olsen Twins Birthday (June 17) (Michelle Tanner), when I cover Full House S4E17: A Fish Called Martin, which aired on February 1, 1991. Hey Tanner Fans, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, in honor of Bob Saget's (Danny Tanner) Heavenly Birthday, I am covering Full House S4E15: Ol' Brown Eyes, which aired January 11, 1991. In this episode Danny feels uncool when DJ turns to Joey and Jesse instead of him. I enjoyed this episode, it being one I don't really watch in my regular rotation. Danny thinking he was going to surprise DJ at this fundraiser she put together for her school by singing the song "My Generation" was ridiculous. Even Jesse, Joey and Becky try to talk him out of it and thankfully DJ catches him ahead of time when she walks into the livingroom and sees him singing this song dressed in a metal holed black leather jacket and leather pants with a grinning skull t-shirt. I would be embarrassed and uncomfortable too if I were her. Thankfully he comes to his senses. Why does it matter if DJ thinks he's cool or not. It seems like Danny is always trying to compete with Jesse for his kids attention of thinking he's cool and hip and with it. Michelle and the Hot and Cold game with Joey was hilarious, seeing him get so frustrated with her to the point where he is crawling around on the floor following her as she retraces her steps. Join me in June when I cover for the Father's Day Series, Full House S5E4: Where Oh Where Has My Little Girl Gone?, which aired on October 8, 1991. Hey Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Punky Power: An Unofficial Punky Brewster Podcast. Today, I covered in honor of Podcast Listener Nicole's birthday, Ever After: A Cinderella Story(1998), starring Drew Barrymore and Anjelica Houston. Movie Synopsis: The Brothers Grimm arrive at the home of a wealthy Grande Dame who speaks of the many legends surrounding the fable of the cinder girl before telling the "true" story of her ancestor. For having not ever seen this movie before I really enjoyed it. It was sweet and adorable and heartwarming. Drew Barrymore does an amazing job in this. I really disliked Anjelica Houston's character the Stepmother, but then again how could you not since she has no redeeming qualities. The brunette stepsister Jacqueline was a sweetheart. I really hated how her mother and sister constantly fat shamed her throughout the movie. I hope you all enjoy listening to this movie review. To EMAIL The PODCAST GO TO: punkypowerpbpodcast@gmail.com
Happy Mother's Day Everyone, Angela Bowen here, the host of Oh Mylanta Holy Chalupas: An Unofficial Full House Fuller House Podcast. Today, I'm covering in honor of Mother's Day, Fuller House S5E6: The Mayor's Bird, which aired on December 19, 2019. In this episode the Mayor of San Francisco needs a house call to cure her bird, Ethan is invited to participate in Gibbler Game Night, Steph contemplates her future as mother of Dani. I thought this was a cute and funny episode. I really let my dislike for Gia be known even though she's not in this episode. Stephanie and baby Dani were so great, and Steph's voice is amazing. Steve handing out the advice to Steph when she is confused as to what direction to take her career now that she is a mom. Gibbler Game Night, woo boy, that was a wild and hilarious time. Ethan is a keeper, he's so sweet and understanding with Ramona and really cares about her. DJ and Matt with the After Hours Pet House Calls was funny too. I like that DJ and Matt can still be good friends after being romantically involved. Overall this episode provided a fun time and a good many laughs through out. Join me next week when I cover in honor of Bob Saget's birthday Full House S4E16: Ol' Brown Eyes, which aired on January 11, 1991.
