Barrie Schwortz was the Official Documenting Photographer for the Shroud of Turin ResearchProject (STURP), the team that conducted the first in-depth scientific examination of the Shroudin 1978. Today, he plays an influential role in Shroud research and education as the editor andfounder of the internationally recognized Shroud of Turin Website (www.shroud.com), theoldest, largest and most extensive Shroud resource on the Internet, with more than fifteenmillion visitors from over 160 countries. In 2009 he founded the Shroud of Turin Education andResearch Association, Inc. (STERA, Inc.), a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, to which hedonated the website and his extensive Shroud photographic collection, as well as many otherimportant Shroud resources, in order to preserve and maintain these materials and make themavailable for future research and study. He currently serves as the President of STERA, Inc.
Dr. Irena Scott received her PhD from the University of Missouri in physiology, did post-doctoral research at Cornell University, has been an Assistant Professor at St. Bonaventure University, and has done research and teaching at The Ohio State University, the University of Missouri, the University of Nevada, and at Battelle Memorial Institute. She worked for the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Aerospace Center in satellite photography, was a volunteer astronomer at the Ohio State University Radio Observatory, and has taken flying lessons. Her publications include books, and works in scientific journals, magazines, newspapers, and she was a correspondent for Popular Mechanics magazine. She served on the MUFON Board of Directors (1993 to 2000), is a MUFON consultant in physiology and astronomy and a field investigator. Earl Grey Anderson is a musician who investigates UFOs. In music, he has worked as a guitarists, vocalist, singer and songwriter. When it comes to UFOs, he holds several positions with the Mutual UFO Network. He is Assistant State Director for Southern California, Chief Field Investigator, and a member of MUFON’s STAR Team. ABOUT MUFON The Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is an American-based non-profit organization that investigates cases of alleged UFO sightings. It is one of the oldest and largest civilian UFO-investigative organizations in the United States. MUFON claims 3,000 members worldwide with chapters in every US state. The group maintains a number of investigators, who undergo training administered by MUFON.
