We talk to Kiefer about his role with Underdogs and what his next month looks like as he helps get the Underdogs Crew Ready for the CrossFit Games. Kiefer was a walk on Basketball Player at UCONN where he interned in Strength and Condiitioning and made that his career until he found CrossFit and began coaching at Invictus Boston. After bending Justin Cotler's Ear he was asked to join the Vegas team and tried it out for a seaon, Kiefer just signed a new lease so I guess he found a home at Underdogs.
We talk to Matt about what it looks like for a Coach heading into the Games. How he breaks down each athletes, observes and develops a relationship to know what volume and load is right for the athlete in each case. We also discuss the difference in coaching teens in comparison to an experienced athlete. Matt walks us through the regimented day at Brute that is used to ensure the days are the same when the athlete is in competition.

We talk to Tim about making the Games for the 6th time however, this time is was through the Last Chance Qualifier. What does it mean to go for 6 times for Tim's legacy? Was it sweeter celebrating with friends and family at or on the competition floor? We talk about parenting and the example that was set for him by his dad, how his son is his everything and he has struck up a great balance between family and CrossFit. We talk to this CrossFit Games Rookie as she prepares to head to Madison for the first time. How Hyland Dance helped her with the demands of the sport and allowed her to see the world. We talk to Paige about her 2nd place finish at Atlas Games. The pressures of coming up through the Mayhem system as a teenager and how it feels to punch her first ticket to the Games. This successful teen athlete has made huge strides in the last year to punch her ticket to her first open division CrossFit Games. She has found her Faith and it has grown stronger over last year in Cookeville and she attributes this to a lot of her success. She is looking forward to some Frosting and a pizza after she finishes the Games this year.
We talk to Sydney about not being a rookie anymore, but finally getting the cool stuff that happens with qualifying for the CrossFit Games, what she has learned that she will take with her back to the Games this year, What is a good Chicken and Waffle?
