This is the last week we are looking at the supposed serial killer in Chicago, aka the Chicago Strangler. I tried to record this last week, had editing problems, audio problems, then the entire file just got deleted. Now I recorded this directly after coming home from the dentist so half of my mouth is numb. It is no secret that women are more likely to be killed by homicide than men. It is also no secret that generally their significant other is the one to kill them due to domestic dispute or violence. The thing most people don't want to look at is the fact that many women are killed by strangers and many of these cases go unsolved. Black women are far more likely to have unsolved murders and non publicized murders. Over the next four weeks, we will be diving into the case of an active serial killer that is unknown still. Charlotte Pollis was a loving mother of two who fell ill one night and traveled to the ER. She was confirmed to return home as she talked to her mother...but the next day she was nowhere to be found. Her husband and his parents were cleaning the home extensively and had pull in the police department so it seems this case may never be solved. Oliva Hope & Ben Smart had a wonderful start to the new year. Upon taking a water taxi back to the yacht they were supposed to stay on, they found out that all the beds had been taken. Getting back on the water taxi they were offered a place to sleep by an unknown male.
