Alright, well, this episode isn't quite as bad as the last one, but it's also not super great. It suffers from the same problem so many Doctor Who episodes seem to, where there's an amazing premise with a great set piece, and somehow it's all squandered. Also, I think you all might have broken Jaime.

We're way too distracted with what a total dick the Doctor is being, and the fact that Clara is just...letting it happen. Also, Jaime tells me about the fan opinions that were circulating at the time of this episode's airing, and I find myself surprised that people had such strong opinions to Danny Pink. This episode is the one where a lady has cloned herself because she understands the meaning "if you want it done right you need to do it yourself" . There's also a terrible mind-reading monster who eats minds...except that maybe he's not terrible after all? And maybe he doesn't want to eat minds either? FYI- due to a scheduling screwup on my part, there will be no episode od Doctor Who next week. It's completely my fault. I'm sorry. This episode is one in which the Doctor deals with a long-held fear that many people can likely relate to, and decides to investigate further into why it's such a ubiquitous image or dream. Also, more of Danny Pink's history is revealed, and it just gets stranger and stranger. Also, Clara isn't great at the whole tact and sensitivity thing, as it turns out.
