On March 25, 2000, Judy Kirby drove the wrong way on State Rd 67 and killed 7 innocent people in the process, 6 of whom were children. How did this happen? Was she suicidal? Was she psychotic? Was she trying to keep her ex-husband from taking the children, or was she trying to free herself from motherhood so that her ex-husband's uncle wouldn't leave her? Part 2 of the Stayner Brothers story - Part 1 was the Hero, part 2 is the Horror. In February of 1999, a woman, her daughter and the foreign exchange student staying with them were missing. Carol Sund and Silvina Pelossa were found dead in the trunk of a burnt out car, and Carol's daughter, Juli, would be found later. In July of the same year, Joie Armstrong's decapitated was found in a drainage ditch, and they soon focused in on the handyman at Cedar Lodge, Cary Stayner. On this mini spin, I'm going to tell you about the 1970 murder of Cynthia Grayson who was murdered for no other reason than she happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. This murder happened about 3 minutes away from my house and I pass by there every day on my way to work, and I think about it every time I drive past. Special thanks to Phil Dixon for recommending this case. Have a Happy Holiday!!!
