Although performing stand-up comedy was what initially united Eliot, Brent, and H. Alan over 10 years ago, it’s their openness (and sense of humor) about feeling totally lost and disconnected from the gay community that’s truly bonded them. On YMIW, Eliot, Brent and H. Alan get down and dirty, exploring the good, bad, and ugly tropes of contemporary gay life, often the stuff that no one -- especially straight people -- discuss for fear of being labeled homophobic. (Don’t worry. They’ll do that for you.) Each episode features a special guest -- comedians, humorists, musicians, influencers, film/TV writers, journalists, politicians, etc. - as well as allies, enemies, and acquaintances from all backgrounds and professions, not just those in the public eye. And as white, urban-dwelling gay dudes in their thirties, Eliot, Brent and H. Alan check their own privilege at the door, eager to instead explore what life looks for those not afforded the same concessions.

Jessi Klein, author ofI'll Show Myself Out(and star of Big Mouth) joins the guys to momentarily unravel from food poisoning, parenting ennui and existential dread, but in a cute way! John Flynn, author of new memoirBaked!, talks about his life as the gayest pot cookie dealer New York has ever seen. Also, the battle around Title IX leaves us asking: WHY ARE CONSERVATIVES OBSESSED WITH US? (It's because they are bad people!) And when talking about theirfavorite summer treats, the guys provide a public service in reminding you that if you've never had an egg cream, what are you even DOING with your life? With the overturning of Roe vs. Wade, the guys kick things off on a unsurprisingly dour note, but not without a healthy reminder that when the mid-terms arrive, we all have TWO options in the words of P. Diddy: vote or DIE. Then, Bridger Winegar, host of the podcastI Said No Gifts, shares some of the worst presents he's ever received, although it's still unclear where he stands on the free candy bars (ooh!) from Mormon missionaries who tracked down his home address after he defected (boo!). And in a query posed to you, our dear listeners, help us answer this very important question: is it weirder to work out in jeans at the gym or to regularly eat dinner at 9:00pm? Filmmaker, editor and directorVera Drew gives us a peek into her life behind the camera, whereanswering the phone is harder than it sounds. And if the guys each had a superpower, what would they be, and who would be arrested first? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Colton Haynes makes his return to the pod to talk aboutMiss Memory Lane, his gut-wrenchingnew memoir that will leave you -- in thewords of H. Alan -- "itching for more" (but in a different way). And now that Postmates has used Pride month to introduce a ::checks notes:: "menu for bottoms," we are officially EXHAUSTED. Also, just try and name another podcast where three queer hosts earnestly talk about coin purses without making a single joke about the vagina. Go ahead, we'll wait! Learn more about your ad choices. Happy 200th episode! The guys celebrate the milestone with more listener Q&A because who needs guests anyway? (JK ALL ARE WELCOME HERE!!!) Plus, no kink at Pride? The guys discuss their limitations on what should and shouldn't be included in the yearly festivities, from boobs and butts to fists and nuts. And how do YOU feel about singing karaoke with people who actually CAN, even if you, like H. Alan, "hate music"? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Matt LeGrande, Dan Donohue and Cooper Lynden, comedians and hosts of the Cissy Boys podcast, make this episode a full blown sextuplet comedy bonanza, detailing all the colors of the sexual preference rainbow, including butt plugs for straight men. Plus, when someone gets canceled for making homophobic comments but actively tries to make amends, do we listen? And when it comes tohairstyles, which hosts embrace change and which host refuses to go curly and "embrace his Greek heritage," according to Eliot? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

This week, the guys are joined by actor Tonatiuh of ‘Angelyne,’ ‘Vida’ and ‘Promised Land.’ Then, the guys pay tribute to the ‘Real World: New Orleans‘ heartthrob Danny Roberts upon his return to TV. And just how did furries end up at the center of the right wing's trans panic, and when did Eliot realize he was, in fact, dating one? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

This week, the guys are joined by Eric Williams, host of Gay Ass Podcast and preeminent authority on all Gay Ass Shit. Plus, the guys examine the strange venn diagram that compares famously closeted former New York City mayor Ed Koch and embattled Republican troll (and Hitler stan) Madison Cawthorn. Plus, would you believe Bette Midler OPENLY OPPOSED GAY MARRIAGE? Well, she did once, as Brent is more than happy to remind you. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Thanks to the notorious Supreme Court leak, this week's episode accidentally becomes our first ever Abortion Special, featuringOh God! A Show About Abortionmonologist (?) Alison Leiby and a deep dive into how women's reproductive rights affects everybody. And, yes, that includes Brent, even after he shares his misunderstanding about how a vagina functions in a body of water. Plus, is being offline hot? Suddenly, "getting off" has a whole new meaning!
