On November 20th, 2019 14 year old Nabila Maazouz had just completed a swim team practice with her team. Afterward the team dove underneath the water to put some covers on the pool. We examine the details of how her tragic death occurred, think of some safety measures that could've been put into place to help prevent this, her family's lawsuit against the school, parks and rec department, and the manufacturer and seller of the pool cover, and discuss what memorials have been put into place to honor her memory.
