Monisha Rios, psychologist, social worker, and fellow anti-imperialist, joins Henri and Jovanni to the discuss the long standing destruction of Vieques and Culebra, two islands that make up a portion of Puerto Rico, and how the military training / bombing presence and contamination has wreaked havoc on the residents there. Also discussed is Monisha’s panel during the 7th Annual International Seminar for Peace and the Abolition of Foreign Military Bases, held near the U.S. base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Monisha Ríos, PhD, MSW is a Puerto Rican/Viequense psychologist, social worker, and anti-imperialist veteran of the U.S. Army.
