Let's face it...young adulthood is usually not a time when you're feeling your finest. At least for me and Katherine, we know that most of the time we're caught up in the cyclical questions of: "Do I measure up? Do I belong here? Am I doing enough?" We weigh in on: -what "loving yourself" really means, and why it's not so simple -dealing with criticism -comparing ourselves with others and how it works in circles -how to best utilize social media (mark our words: no-social media will be the next new, hip thing) -strategies we’re implementing to reduce negative self-esteem There's no quick fix to this issue, but it's important to voice these thoughts when they surface. If you can relate, please let us know in the comments or reach out to us through social media! Instagram @sarah_kimm_ or @theunreadypodcast With love, Sarah
In this episode Katherine reunites with her best friend of 15 years, Lina, who just got back from a memorable gap year in Sweden. Lina recounts the challenges and joys of moving halfway across the world at 18, and finding herself at times without friends, cash, or an internet connection. Listen to Lina talk about: —working in a foreign country —making friends without any support system —the best/worst parts of Sweden —why she took a gap year and how she made it work —how much she desperately missed Katherine and couldn't stand being away from her

We knew the transition to college was gonna be tough...but we didn't think about what the transition to summer would be like once freshman year was over! Sarah is navigating a bustling life as a marketing intern and dancer in the big apple, while 2,172 miles away in Salt Lake City Katherine is spending 8 hours a day on her feet teaching 5th graders about the wonders of nature (with a little home brewing one the side). As always, big changes like this have us questioning what we really want to do with our lives, what our passions are, and who we are at our core when everything is constantly changing around us. But hey, it's summer, relax a little!
We're back! Katherine is currently in the beautiful motherland of Utah while Sarah is in iconic NYC. We recorded this episode with the one and only BIIIIIG sender: Dawson, a while back when we were still in school. Hear us talk about: - The weirdest things we've done this year (did someone say streaking + creating a fake frat?) - How we've changed - What we're doing for the summer, and the pressure / insecurity that comes with figuring it out - What it takes to have truly great friendships (weed & alch don't @ us) - Our fears and hopes about sophomore year We're back n better (hopefully...), so stay tuned for more episodes where we talk about our summer experiences in Utah, NYC, and Australia! Deep talks, dumb jokes, and cloutty content awaits.

Trust us. We know what we're doing. We spill allllll the tea about getting into top colleges!! . . . . . Juuuuust kidding. Truth is that this conversation calls into question the value of advice content---in today's era of information, how should we determine what advice to trust and how can we be more mindful of giving advice? We want to be super clear that we are not trying to criticize other people and their character. To some extent, we are also guilty of this. In this episode, we just want to create a conversation and think critically about the advice we give and take in the digital era.
