Dr. Joanna Eisele is a visiting assistant professor at Rollins College in Florida. She earned her Ph.D. in Sociology in 2014 from UCF and specializes in social inequalities. She teaches a variety of sociology courses and approaches them from an inequalities perspective. She is a mom of two and a powerlifter. Love this for her! Today we are getting spicy and deep-diving into medical sociology. Autonomy, human rights and intersections with healthcare, access to timely, affordable, respectful reproductive care, the trickle-down effect of Roe v Wade, credible research and EBP, and having a girl-on-girl moment!
