President Xi Jinping will pay a state visit to the United States from Wednesday to Friday at the invitation of US President Donald Trump. The visit, which comes 11 years after Xi's previous state visit to the US in September 2015, is of strategic significance to guide the development of the world's most important bilateral relations.
