The fifth plenary session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China will be held from Oct 26 to 29 in Beijing, according to a decision made on Monday at a meeting of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the meeting, which studied major issues on strengthening full and rigorous Party self-governance with perseverance. During the meeting, the CPC leadership heard a report on feedback gathered from both within and outside the Party regarding the draft document of the CPC Central Committee's decision on strengthening full and rigorous Party self-governance with perseverance.
