Today we will discuss Adult Cystic Fibrosis – a rare disease that is little talked about and therefore, often poorly understood. Our medical experts, Dr. Julie Biller, Director of the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program at MCW and Pat Pfahler, a registered nurse and program coordinator for the Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program, will be joined by two of their patients who will provide their personal stories of how they are successfully managing the challenge of CF. At the end of today’s program we will hear from a close friend of mine – a pancreatic surgeon in California who has family and friends in Russia and Ukraine.
