On this week's Word on Medicine, and in honor of National Nurses Week, we have a great program for you “All About Nurses”. We have filled the radio's recording studio and just to name a few: CRNAs Lisa Johnson, Katie Schesta, Justin Dworak, along with Bente Smith, PA, Gabriella Pyptiuk, APNP, and our ALL-WORLD RNs from PACU and 12CFAC, Anne Berge, Terri Lakich, Brooke Tiziani, Kristal Bieganski, Debi Rhyner, Amy Schinneller, and Jessica Lunn. We follow two patients, from the OR all through their stay in the hospital and we discuss the impact of nurses on their successful recoveries. You won't want to miss this program, especially if you are thinking of nursing as a career – if you have a nurse in the family – or if you want good, old fashion entertainment. This program is a blast – and pays tribute to the nurses who make health care possible!
