The Communist Party of China has reached a membership of nearly 101.29 million as of the end of 2025, marking an increase of over 1.01 million members from the previous year, according to a report released on Tuesday. The report, issued by the Organization Department of the CPC Central Committee, came just a day before the Party's 105th anniversary, highlighting a steady growth in membership and ongoing optimization of its personnel structure. In 2025 alone, more than 2.08 million individuals joined the Party. Notably, over 1.07 million of these new members were actively engaged in frontline production and work, comprising 51.4 percent of the new recruits.
