"Trish Valleys is my pen name," she says."I was adopted as a child in the UK and much of my early trauma and loss was when I was pre verbal. From hypnosis and different therapies, (I have spent years on self development and dealing with these memories and feelings), it has been established that I have suffered several types of abuse." Trish goes on, "The biggest impact and damage has been from the emotional and psychological damage I suffered growing up. This also led to my adult behaviors of trying to please, being overly compliant and wanting to be loved." But she, like many of us, felt unworthy. This sense of herself inevitably followed through to an abusive marriage with a man she suspects was a narcissist.
